Terms of Service

Last updated: February 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShotForge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of ShotForge after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Use of Service

ShotForge grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our service for your personal or commercial creative projects. You may use the prompts you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial AI video production. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute ShotForge itself or its underlying technology.

3. Ownership of Generated Prompts

You own the prompts you generate using ShotForge. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your generated content. The cinematic prompt text you create belongs to you and you may use it freely in your projects without attribution to ShotForge.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use ShotForge to generate prompts intended for illegal content, content that violates the terms of the AI video platforms you use, content that infringes on others' intellectual property, or any content that is harmful, abusive, or violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase by contacting support@shotforge.ai.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to ShotForge. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. Free tier users may experience rate limiting during high-demand periods. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

ShotForge is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to ShotForge in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable international law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
